Child care assistance (CCS)
Little Explorers works with families who receive Child Care Services (CCS) assistance. If you live in Travis County and need help paying for child care, you can apply through Workforce Solutions Capital Area. Texas Rising Star centers like ours can receive higher reimbursement rates, which helps us keep quality high.

What is Texas Rising Star?
Texas Rising Star is the quality rating system for child care programs in Texas. Centers earn 2, 3 or 4 stars based on things like teacher qualifications, how teachers interact with children, curriculum and nutrition. Little Explorers is a 4-Star center.
